Liability

What Is Our Limitation of Liability?

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the following limitations apply to all services we provide.

What We Are Not Liable For

  • Indirect or consequential damages — for example, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business
  • Liability cap: our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Force majeure: delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

What Is Never Excluded

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
  • Breach of your legal rights — for example, your consumer rights

For ECO4-funded projects: our liability is limited to the services we provide. We are not liable for decisions made by scheme administrators — for example, application rejection or funding changes.

Warranties

What Warranties Do We Provide?

We Warrant That

  • Our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill
  • We comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Our team holds appropriate qualifications, and retrofit work is delivered in line with the PAS 2035 framework
  • We proactively follow the RECC consumer protection standards in how we sell and deliver our services

Third-Party Warranties

  • Insulation installations: CIGA 25-year guarantee (where applicable)
  • Solar panels and heat pumps: manufacturer warranties (typically 5–10 years parts, 25 years performance)
  • We will provide warranty documentation for all installations

Limitations

To be fair and transparent with every client, there are outcomes we cannot guarantee:

  • We do not guarantee specific energy savings — savings depend on property condition, occupant behaviour, and external factors
  • We do not guarantee ECO4 or BUS grant approval — decisions are made by scheme administrators
  • We do not guarantee EPC rating improvements — outcomes depend on property-specific factors
